Ground Rules
We’re excited to welcome you to SPAC!
Please note that Live Nation events have different Ground Rules.
Outlined below are specifics on what you can and cannot bring into the venue for each event. We appreciate your cooperation in helping to make all of our events a fun, safe environment for all!
Live Nation Ground Rules
Please note: guests are not allowed to bring alcohol to Live Nation events and the items listed below are subject to change or vary on show day.
Permitted Items
- ONLY small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs no bigger than 4.5”x6.5” OR clear plastic bags NO BIGGER than 12″x12″x6” will be allowed inside.
- Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
- Food – in a clear, 1-gallon zip-lock bag
- Water – an empty water bottle OR up to 1 gallon of water in a factory sealed bottle is permitted.
- Small blankets
- Lawn Chairs – For the safety and convenience of all our guests, only collapsible lawn/camping chairs will be permitted with the height of the chair not to exceed 43” when collapsed. Canopies, footrests, side tables, and other attachments are prohibited. This policy will be strictly enforced. Chairs not meeting these specifications will not be allowed entry. Low profile/beach chairs may be rented upon entering the facility adjacent to the main merchandise tent or in advance by clicking here, subject to availability. - Illegal drugs/substances
- Glass containers
- Cans
- Hard/soft coolers
- Average sized bags/backpacks
- Large or oversized bags/backpacks, such as luggage, duffel bags, or industrial/camping-sized backpacks
- Laser pointers
- Animals (except service animals)
- Fireworks
- iPads/tablets
- Selfie sticks

All Live Nation ground rules are subject to change. By entering the SPAC grounds, guests agree to abide by the rules listed above. Management reserves the right to modify these rules or can request to see the contents of any belongings brought on property at their discretion. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the utmost levels of safety and convenience for our guests and staff.
SPAC Amphitheater Ground Rules
Applicable for Friehofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival and classical events including, New York City Ballet and The Philadelphia Orchestra.
Permitted Items
- Food, beverages and personal coolers are permitted. No glass containers.
- Umbrellas and chairs are permitted, but will be restricted by sizing for use on the main amphitheater lawn, as follows:
- Personal-sized umbrellas only are permitted on amphitheater lawn.
- Lawn chairs must not exceed 43” when collapsed.
- Lawn chairs on the center amphitheater lawn must not exceed 26″ in height.
- NO tents of any size will be permitted on the amphitheater lawn.
Items Not Permitted
- Glass containers
- Plastic tarps
- Lawn chairs over 43” when collapsed
- Tents are prohibited on amphitheater lawn
- Grills or cooking equipment
- Laser pointers
- Drones
- Professional audio or video recording equipment
- Cameras with detachable lenses
- Bikes, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, etc.
- Animals (except ADA approved service animals)
- Illegal drugs or substances
- Weapons of any kind
