Our Venues
The SPAC Campus
The Saratoga Performing Arts Center is home to an acoustically ideal amphitheater, the Spa Little Theatre, the Charles R. Wood Discovery Stage, the Hall of Springs and the Jazz Bar, and our newest additions to the campus, the Julie Bonacio Family Pavilion and The Pines, which includes the Nancy DiCresce Room and The Pines Terrace.
Saratoga Performing Arts Center Amphitheater
Our venue has an overall 25,000 person capacity of 5,200 sheltered seats in the amphitheater and a sloping lawn for an additional 20,000 people. The stage is home to New York City Ballet and Philadelphia Orchestra performances in addition to Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival and shows by Live Nation.
Spa Little Theatre
An intimate, 500-seat theatre showcasing our Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in addition to year-round programming including our holiday concert series.
Charles R. Wood Discovery Stage
The Charles R. Wood Discovery Stage is an open-air stage located on the SPAC grounds, often known as our “discovery stage” for the Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival. In addition it hosts our “Caffe Lena @ SPAC” concert series, student music and dance presentations, and multi-stage music and arts festivals.
The Pines
SPAC’s newly renovated campus features two unique spaces including The Pines, which features both the Nancy DiCresce Room, a state-of-the-art indoor multi-purpose room, and The Pines Terrace, an impressive second floor balcony with breathtaking views.
Julie Bonacio Family Pavilion
In the center of our campus is the open-air Julie Bonacio Family Pavilion, where guests are invited to bring in their own picnics and dine and gather before a performance.
Hall of Springs
A historical, world-renowned banquet venue, the Hall of Springs overlooks both our amphitheater and the opulent Reflecting Pool. It hosts “SPAC In Conversation” (formerly known as the Lecture Luncheon) in addition to other events.
The Jazz Bar
An elegant space located within the Hall of Springs. Following select classical programs, it transforms into an after-hours social scene featuring live jazz music and dancing.
SPAC School of the Arts
The SPAC School of the Arts (SOTA) is a multidisciplinary arts school that was founded in 2021 to further SPAC’s longstanding mission to ensure that students of all ages have the opportunity to experience the transformative power of the arts.
SOTA operates out of the Lewis A. Swyer Studios – a state-of-the-art facility located behind the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, NY.
